This place has legit Chinese food. Each time I come to visit my aunt and uncle, they always like to take us here. We order family style and we get mao pao tofu (not spicy), honey walnut shrimp, seafood chow mein, fish & bok choy, and pork chops with mandarin sauce. The flavor of each dish was great.
Note: There is lack of cleanliness in the place, but to the Chinese, that's what makes it more legit. -

San Bruno Avenue is another part of San Francisco with an Asian community. But this part of the city is really diverse with a mixture of multi ethnic and family businesses. It is really good to see local businesses get along with other businesses along the sectional strip.
And with a Chinese Community along the corridor, there has got to be a few Chinese restaurants with a deli, in which I landed for lunch.
This restaurant/deli prepares food from the deli or from the kitchen by the gifted chef (I hope they are). I ordered the two-meat combo over white rice. For $8.00, I get a choice of either roast pork, BBQ pork, roast duck or steamed chicken. I chose the roast pork and BBQ pork (the ultimate carnivore's delight). Both the meats were very lean with very little fat. The skin from the roast pork was very crunchy. The BBQ pork had a very nice glaze. For the price, the plate portion is just about right without being overly excessive.
Like most Chinese restaurants/delis, the establishment is a bit of a hole in a wall. But the food was pretty solid.
As some of you have read from my Quick tip, this place is Cash only. -

After two years I decided to come back here and I actually been here twice since I wrote the last review. Upon further experience I bumped them up to a 3. The food seems to have leveled out but the portion size is still much smaller than I am used to in the past glory days of Wing Hing.
They are still awfully nice and offer up a typical Cantonese broth soup with some scraps and vegetables they do sometimes when you come which I always appreciated.
I wish it was back to the four star days but I'll probably keep coming back from time to time when I'm in the area.
Local friends near the area have claimed Tops is the new Chinese BBQ top place in the area. -

Still my favorite Chinese restaurant. Forgot to add photos from the last posting. Normally I do take out so I can share with family. Generous portions and low prices. Food is amazing. Highly recommend.

This place should report to health department and police departments due to following reasons
Kitchen is so dirty and I saw the lady(owner) dropped the food (chicken )on the floor and pick it up and sale to the people.
Dining tables are so dirty as well
The owner collects the money and didn't wash the hand .
The owner over charged the sales tax and food price
Very careful.. guys be sure check the food safety report from health department
